Classification, Racing and Kaspar Wirz

Getting classified was a huge weight off both our shoulders. All of our shoulders actually.
As well a being a huge relief for us it is a number of firsts for Australian Para Sport.

Daniel and I have been gelling well on snow although a couple of small hiccups in our first two races has given us some specific things to work on. Most importantly I should not run into him. The first time cost me skin off my chin and the second cost Daniel an expensive carbon ski pole.

We have been extremely fortunate to engage Kaspar Wirz for our time here.  His para nordic knowledge is second to none and we have all improved far beyond expectations in the short time we have been working with him.  We are hopeful to be able to continue working with Kaspar after this trip.  Both Matty and I feel asthough he understands our disability more than we do.
